June meet 2021

June was a quieter meet, although anticipated. People were still reeling from the fact lockdown hadn't been lifted, Covid cases were rising in Cornwall, the weather forecast was rubbish and there was Euro2020 on the TV. Still those who made it out seemed to have a good time, the weather stayed dry although was chilly and there were some 'old' 'new' faces. Different vehicles and the regular faces who it is always good to catch up with. We can only look forward and although July meet will still be under Covid19 restrictions, being outside and most being double vaccinated, it feels good to meet up and get back to a little bit of normal. A few of us cruised before the meet, through Marazion, Penzance and St Ives and everywhere was quite quiet. With restaurants shut in main holiday haunts like St Ives, the only crowds out there were queuing for ice creams.

It doesn't matter to us if we are 2 or 20, just to get the cars out, have a drink and a chat does great things for everyone's wellbeing, so hopefully July 17th will be warm for our next outing, we look forward to seeing anyone who would like to join us with their American Hot Rods or Classics.
